Air 9 is fabricated with material 12% thicker than industry standards. Its 2" thick doors feature steel thresholds and bullet hinges with grease fittings welded on the frame. Pre-drilled holes welded on the jamb facilitate easy installation. High energy efficiency is achieved with 5/8" tempered dual pane operable glass designs that provide dual sealing to reduce both heat and air leakage. In addition, our frames feature Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping to decrease heat or cold transfer. Furthermore, this weather stripping serves to diminish sound, light, drafts, insects, and moisture infiltration. Additionally, it is installed at the door’s bottom to close up any gaps.
