The Air 8 is a durable safe made of 12 gauge material that exceeds industry standards. Its 2-inch thick doors are equipped with a steel threshold and bullet hinges that are connected to the frame with grease fittings. Additionally, the jamb has tabs with pre-drilled holes to simplify installation. Our energy-efficient product has a 5/8" thick tempered glass consisting of two panes that can be opened and have dual sealing. This helps in reducing heat and air leakage. The frames have Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping that helps regulate the transfer of hot and cold temperatures. Additionally, the product has a door sweep that seals gaps at the bottom of the door, preventing the infiltration of sound, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke or fire.
